Fall Break: Topaz Mountain
Our last stop of Fall Break was Topaz Mountain. Dallan took the boys here while I was at Girls camp this summer. They didn't find any topaz on that trip, so our little rock hounds talked us into going again! We found Lizards, snakes, and lots of fun rocks to climb on...but no topaz. Next time we're going with Grandma and Grandpa since they always seem to have success!
Topaz Mountain is in the middle of nowhere, but it has a simple beauty that's refreshing. They just might be able to talk us into going again!
Fall Break: The Grotto
One of the outings we took for Fall Break this year was a hike to the Grotto in Payson canyon. I love this hike; the fall leaves and golden sunshine were just perfect.

First day of School
Oh it is hard to let them go, yet it's exciting to see them learn and grow. I am so thankful for these young men and their courage to face the world! I love being their mother and wish them a wonderful new year at school.
I will miss them every day.
Temple Square
After we left the Natural History Museum we spent some time on Temple Square. I loved being on the temple grounds with my sweet family. It delighted my heart to see my boys soak in the temple and enjoy being together. We ate dinner at the Lion House Pantry (yum!) and also spent some time touring the church history museum.
My favorite moment: Mitchell was so excited to be close to the Salt Lake Temple and asked if he could go up the tall staircase to touch the door. When he reached the top he raised his hands above his head and yelled at the top of his lungs "I'M THE KING OF THE MORMONS!"
I ran up those stairs faster than I thought possible to grab him and remind him to be reverent. After we came down, Dallan and I couldn't stop laughing.
Oh how I love my family! Thank goodness we are forever!
