Summer Scout Camps

This summer all three of my boys had the opportunity to attend a scout camp! 

Matthew attended a week long camp at Maple Dell and was able to earn several merit badges! 

Mitchell attended cub scout day camp at camp Jeremiah Johnson.  He had a great time and loved buying treasures at the trading post!

Josh went on a week long high adventure camp to hike Kings Peak in the High Uintas.  They backpacked for 50 miles together.  I am so thankful for wonderful scout leaders who give my boys the opportunity to do hard things!  I've loved seeing Josh's confidence and testimony grow on high adventure camps!

Mitchell: Coach Pitch

This year Mitchell played Coach Pitch for the first time ever! He had a great time and especially loved the treats at the end! Is there anything cuter than a little boy in a base ball cap?

 I don't think so!

Road Trip: Las Vegas

After we spent the day at Zion's we headed to Las Vegas to stay with Greg and Kelly. They took such good care of us. We BBQ'd, swam in their pool and had a great time catching up with them. We  also spent an afternoon at Hoover Dam- WOW!  The Dam was impressive!  Matthew's favorite part was spitting off the edge and having his spit fly right back up in his face.

  

We spent an evening the ZELDA symphony! Earlier this year we surprised the boys with tickets to the ZELDA symphony and they were thrilled! The world class symphony played songs from the many different Zelda video games. It was so fun, and my boys couldn't stop smiling. Josh told us, "Wow there are a lot of people here who are more "nerd" than me! This is awesome!"

Road Trip: Zion's National Park

After we left St. George we headed to Zion's National Park.  We haven't been there since we were first married, and we were excited to take the boys for the first time.  Oh it was so incredibly beautiful there!  Each hike we went on was stunning and the views were simply breath taking!  We loved every minute of our time there!
