First Snowfall

There's something magical about the first snow fall of the year! This one only lasted for a day, then the weather warmed right up!

Christmas Performances

Tis' the season for orchestra performances, school programs, and piano recitals! I wish my boys could peek inside my heart to see how I feel as I watch them develop their talents.

My seventeen year old brother has been teaching these two this year!  He is a wonderful teacher!

We had a great Halloween Family Home evening complete with a spooky mystery dinner!

On Halloween night I dressed up like a peacock and Mitchell decided to be 100 % Iron Man.

Fall Magic at the Cabin

Oh how we love Fall at the cabin! Mitchell brought his "satchel"  filled with binoculars, field guides and bug catching jars. He was convinced he would finally find big foot and perfected his big foot call as we went exploring!

 Mitchell and Matthew enjoyed raking up leaves and then swinging into the piles!  They also didn't pass up the chance to dump them on each other! 

General Conference

This year we were able to attend the Sunday afternoon session of General Conference as a family!  It was the first time any of my boys were able to attend a live session.  We caught the front runner with Nana and Papa who were visiting from Washington and arrived right in down town Salt Lake.  It was so sweet to see my boys experience the powerful spirit as the prophet walked into the room.  I loved making such a special memory together.
