Fall Break: Dinosaur National Monument

We spent our Fall break in the Uinta Basin Area and had a wonderful time! 

Our first stop was McConkie Ranch!  We went on a short hike that lead to an abundance of Native American petroglyphs!  Mitchell was in heaven and made his own sketches and notes about each one.  

We also spent a day at Dinosaur National Monument.  The quarry was amazing and had countless dinosaur bones contained in the rock!

Our favorite hike of the day was at Josie's Ranch.  The fall leaves were simply stunning and the trail was perfect!

Fall Fun

This Fall we also enjoyed fun family time at my parents cabin! 

 We also attended the play "South Pacific!"  It was 'some enchanted evening!'

and we always enjoy the BYU football season!

Josh Homecoming Dance

Josh went to homecoming with several friends including my sister Alisa! It was so fun to see them all dressed up to go on a fun date together. During the day they went bowling and out for ice cream. They went to Brick Oven for dinner then enjoyed the dance together. I was so proud of Josh for going to his first dance. It was really sweet to help him pick out a new suit and corsage for his date. I love all that he is becoming.

First Days of School August 2016

Oh I can't believe how fast these boys are growing up!  Josh is a Junior and Matthew is a Freshman!  They both started their new school year waking up at the crack of Dawn for early morning seminary.  Mitchell is in 4th grade and is looking forward to a fun new year!

Baadsgaard Family Man Camp 2016

Man Camp 2016: Every year the Baadsgaard boys gather to have man camp! There are no mom's to make them eat healthy, brush their teeth or change their underwear and that's just the way they like it!
