The autumn sunrises have been amazing lately. I love the beautiful ways that Heavenly Father says, "I love you."

Butterfly Friends
This past summer my
brother John taught Mitchell how to catch and pin bugs. Mitchell has
become quite an enthusiastic bug collector! You can imagine his
excitement when John brought over two monarch caterpillars to raise!
Mitchell carefully tended to the caterpillars by giving them fresh milk
weed every day. He was overjoyed when they each created a magical green
chrysalis with a gold thread through the top! After his butterflies
hatched he cared for them for several weeks. He then told me "I can't
bear to pin them because I've taken care of them for their whole lives!
They're my friends." So he decided to let them go on a beautiful
September afternoon.
First Day of School
This year we have a
second, seventh and ninth grader! Oh they are growing up so fast! I am
so blessed to have such wonderful boys.

Man Camp: Dallan and Matthew
This summer Dallan and Matthew went on the annual Baadsgaard family "Man Camp." Josh was on his 50 miler with his scout troop so he was having his own adventure that week! For man camp they back- packed to Island Lake located in the Uintas. They had a great time with my Dad and a few of my brothers. Matthew loved going out to the island and almost catching a fish with a gummy worm! They had memorable talks around the camp fire, and Matthew even got to try his new hammock. They loved the beautiful scenery and bush- whacking up the mountain side when they lost the trail!
Dallan at Calf Creek Falls
This summer Dallan accompanied some of the young women in our stake on a high adventure back packing trip! They spent several days at Calf Creek Falls, and he loved it! He enjoyed being with the young women, and hiking through the river! He really enjoyed spending time with the leaders, and was grinning from ear to ear when he got home! Thank you to our amazing stake girls camp director for putting this trip together!
