This year the theme for the school reflections contest was "Beauty Is..." Josh submitted a poem that he wrote and he won! He was just tickled, and we were so proud!

Camping
Camping, the mysterious, chirping, howling, wild outdoors.
The heat rising from the fire,
roasted marshmallows soon begin to be made into
delicious chocolaty s’mores.
Nighttime, the stars and moon begin to rise.
The sound of crickets fills the air.
Everyone in their tents.
Telling scary and silly stories.
Squeezing into sleeping bags.
ZIP!
Camping, the greatest adventure ever.

Congratulations Josh!

Wow....well done! I would've have guessed that was written by a child. He's obviously a "smart" Moody!
"Smart" Moody indeed! :) Congratulations Josh!!!
Congrats Josh. I think you have a bright future in writing. I'm sure I'll see your byline someday.
Congrats! That is so great!
Love it!
That's great we just had our Reflections Night this week too. My son made a wire scultpture of a boy out of an old white hanger. It's amazing what kids come up with.
Way to go, Josh! My kids loved it, too! Like mother, like son! Love it!!!!
Just read your poem, Josh. I think you take after your grandma. You did an awesome job.
