This year my boys are attending a new school, so there are a lot of butterflies every morning as they embark on a new adventure in uncharted territory.
We celebrated our first day with:
new shoes (you can't help but be happy about new squeaky clean super awesome shoes!)
with Father's blessings
with doughnuts and chocolate milk for their first day breakfast
and with special snacks and back scratches (their favorite way to unwind) when they got home...
New adventures are hard sometimes,
but each day gets a little bit easier!

It's still hard to get used to seeing kids in the US in regular clothes for school, rather than school uniforms. I hope they had a great first day.
I hope as the days pass that it gets easier and easier on them and that they will find good friends! I love the "new squeaky clean super awesome new shoes"...you're FUNNY!
