Matthew’s birthday is during the Christmas-time cold
And he thinks Winter parties are just getting old
So he wanted to have some friends over for fun
to party together and play in the sun...
Since his half birthday was the very next day
he thought it would be a great day to play.
They played in the sun, had a water fight too.
They enjoyed doughnut halves and some other halves too!
We didn't do presents, it wasn't really his birthday
Just a fun chance to gather a few friends to play!

I have always wanted to do this. Having my birthday and my Anniversary 3 days before Christmas makes Summers too dull for me. I need something to celebrate there... Maybe one of these years I'll plan ahead enough. Great ideas! I love the half theme...

What a good idea, 3 of my kids are Fall & Winter babies and I was so excited Camden came in June. And I'm sure all of his brothers are going to be jealous that he always has a fun water party for his birthday every year. So thanks for the FUN half birthday idea!:)

That's awesome! Jarom's always asks why his birthday has to be last in the year and in the cold months too! No wonder it's the same day as Matthew's. He desperately wishes he could change it. This is a great idea! What a good mom you are!
