Last fall my neighbor gave me some bulbs to plant! I thought they were all tulips, but when my yellow tulips bloomed, I noticed these spindly stalks growing at a slower pace along side them. I thought most bulbs bloomed in the spring time, but look what surprised me this week! Aren't they fancy and exotic! I just love my late bloomers!

Oh your lilies are beautiful! Ours are too just now in bloom. I love having a few flowers that bloom much later and help the hot summer weather continue to be beautiful.

I think we are all late bloomers. It has taken me a lifetime to learn some lessons.
