Pumpkin Patch Miracle

Mitchell was really looking forward to his preschool trip to the pumpkin patch this week, and was quite disappointed when he woke up to rain. As I was getting ready, Mitchell came to me and said, "Mom I said two prayers and asked Heavenly Father to help the rain stop- and it did! I just love making miracles..."

What a great thing to record! I love miracles too. How sweet he is! Between the pumjpkin patch and frankenstein face, you guys are rockin' halloween! Can't wait for your decorating post!

Don't you love the faith of little kids? We had the same thing happen to us one day when we were getting ready for swimming lessons. It started to rain, and I mean, RAIN! Jason immediately bowed his head and asked Heavenly Father to make the rain stop so he could go swimming. Well, in the next half hour, it not only kept raining but got WORSE...so bad that we couldn't see anything but waves of water out of the windows. Yet, I knew in my heart that we'd be at swimming lessons happily swimming a few minutes later. Sure enough, within five minutes, the cloud had rained itself out and the sky lit up with bright, beautiful sunshine! Kids' prayers are really powerful things...and maybe my prayers begging that their prayers will be answered so that they can have a little miracle and have their faith confirmed are pretty powerful, too! :)
